THE WILD SIDE
ARE YOU READY TO TAKE A WALK?
Alasdair Masters is in a rut. He just hit forty, has been nearly celibate for the past year, and his life has turned into a daily sequence of lonely patterns that revolve around avoiding human contact.

His tidy life is turned on its head when a hot young blonde at the gym that’s been pseudo-stalking him decides to rock his world. A very young blonde. Way, way too young for him. The problem is, he can’t seem to tell her no, and she just keeps coming back for more.
It doesn’t help that he’s ninety percent sure she’s a criminal, and still, he can’t seem to turn her down. What is a dull introvert to do when a chaotic cyclone that oozes sexuality comes twisting into his life?

At first, he thinks she’ll give him a heart attack, but after his twenty-year marriage ended a year ago, he’s been a little lost, and when she comes crashing into his life, he realizes that he’s never felt more alive.

Is a walk on the wild side just what he needs to get his life on track or a disaster in the making? Is it possible for someone that much younger to be just what he needs, or is she a fortune hunter, as everyone keeps telling him? Is it his hormones telling him that the mysterious younger woman is the one, or could it be more?

***** This book is intended for readers 18 and up.*****

The Wild Side – R.K. Lilley

4.5 Stars – Naughty, Fun and Intriguing

Where do I begin, The Wild Side is quite different from all of the other books I’ve read by this author. I mean I fell head over heels with this author’s work when I started the Up In the Air series, I devoured them. I then read Tristan and Danika’s spin off series…and fell in love all over again. The Wild Side is a complete departure from these, with the exception of the heat. There’s little to no romance; however, R.K. Lilley does the erotic and seductive well. Very. Well. Indeed.

The Wild Side is unique, intriguing, and risqué. Alasdair is 40 and Iris is 24,
quite the age gap… that’s not the only part of the story that’s a little provocative, Iris is not shy, not in the least; she’s every man’s wet dream… pun intended. She knows what she likes and she’s not afraid to ask for it. She wants Alasdair and she’s going to have him. But Iris has secrets...Alasdair the single, divorced, bestselling crime drama author and has noticed Iris on more than one occasion, in the gym they both frequent. More over his body has noticed Iris…

From page one, we get what I’m willing to bet is going to be a captivating series. We don’t get a lot of character development this first book it’s tons of naughty, fun, sexy times. It’s highly entertaining, engrossing and mysterious, a truly great way to spend an evening… Secrets, Lies, Drama, Seduction, Addiction, and Lust, The Wild Side is sinful …a guilty pleasure that I enjoyed and cannot wait for more Iris and Alasdair
