Title: Never Too Late
Series: Willow Creek #2
Author: Micalea Smeltzer
 Release Date: April 21, 2015

Synopsis

I’d never met anyone quite like Mathias Wade.

He was brooding and arrogant, but I loved him anyway.

Together we were wild and uncontained—a hurricane raging.

Then I had to leave, and words were exchanged that could never be undone.

But now I was back, and Mathias better watch out, because this bitch wasn’t finished with him.

Game. Set. Match.

All is fair in love and war, right?

Mathias Wade, the lead singer of Willow Creek, is used to getting everything he wants. Except for Remy Parker—the one that got away. Childhood friends that grew into more, Remy was the one constant in his life until she moved away. In anger, he lashed out and broke the only girl he ever loved. With temptation around every corner Mathias drowns his sorrow in women and alcohol. When the band returns to their hometown for the holidays the last thing Mathias expects is to run into Remy—but she’s back, and she’s not done with him.

Remy never forgot Mathias or the pain he caused her. When she moves back to the place she grew up to take care of her ailing grandma her heart is set on revenge. She’s determined to make Mathias fall in love with her all over again—only this time she’s going to break his heart.

But Mathias never stopped loving Remy—and she soon discovers that her feelings haven’t disappeared either.

Can two people too stubborn for their own good overcome their own demons and find the love they always deserved?

Excerpt

I jumped up on the counter and he moved to stand in front of me, bracing his hands beside my hips. I kicked my legs against the cabinets like a little kid as he stared down at me intensely. I wasn’t sure what he was looking for in my eyes, but he must have found it, because he cupped my cheek and leaned in.
“This feels like when we were younger,” he whispered. “Like no time at all has passed.” His words echoed my previous thoughts.
I closed my eyes, feeling his breath fan across my lips.
God, I’d missed him.
It didn’t seem possible to miss someone I’d grown to hate, but I did.
I was pretty sure that when someone like Mathias came into your life they were impossible to forget.
He was like the sun, burning so bright that even once he was gone I was still blinded.
“Did you ever miss me?” I asked. “Even once?” I held my breath, waiting for him to explode—because that was Mathias. He could be nice one minute and an asshole the next. I wouldn’t put it past him to kick me out for my question.
Instead he surprised me by leaning in impossibly closer and nuzzling my neck. “Always.”

Title: The Billionaire Game
Series: The Billionaire Game
Author: Lila Monroe
Cover Design: British Empire Designs
 Release Date: May 4, 2015

Synopsis

Sexy playboy billionaire Asher Young goes through girlfriends like he goes through bottles of Mo√ęt. I would know — he brings them all to get fitted for my luxury lingerie designs. I guess that's one way to avoid awkward conversations when they find another girl’s panties in his Maserati.

Now he has a proposition for me: he’ll invest in my design business, and I’ll finally open the boutique of my dreams.

There’s just one problem: I can’t stop kissing him. And he looks REALLY good naked.

Make that two problems….

Excerpt

“I can have my lawyers draw up the contract this afternoon: I’ll front the cash in exchange for minority percentage of ownership. Are you in?”

He looked especially kissable in that moment, all hopeful and earnest and excited, and a tiny bit vulnerable as he waited for my answer. It was hard to remember all the times he had made me so mad, hard to remember that there was anything about this man that anyone could find infuriating.

There was a little whisper of worry in the back of my mind that said I still didn’t know who the real Asher was: was it the sweet man who reassured me that he believed in me, and joked about his own failings? Or the condescending, flirty asshole who had three girlfriends but still couldn’t keep his sly winks and hands to himself?

I looked around the store and as the anticipation bubbled up inside me, I realized that it didn’t matter. This whole venture was a risk, especially with Asher, but there was no way I was going to say no. Not when this was what I had always wanted.

“Okay,” I said out loud. “You’ve got a deal.”

Now, all I had to do was make it through this business partnership without killing him, kissing him, or both.

Title: BIG LOVE ABROAD
(Big Girls Do It #7)
Author: Jasinda Wilder
Add to  Goodreads

I was finally fulfilling my life-long dream of studying at Oxford University in England. I had a thesis. I had an apartment. The one thing I didn’t have was time for a man. Especially not one as sexy and intriguing and distracting as Ian Stirling. Okay, I mean, maybe I did have a little time for a man. After all, it’s not every day a ripped British sex-god sweeps you off your feet and does dirty, delicious things to you.

Again and again. And again.

For days.

The problem is, Ian was just supposed to be a hunky distraction, but now my heart is craving him like my mouth craves cupcakes.

I let him pull my hips backward yet more, so now I was bent at the waist, leaning forward, my ass presented to Ian. I wasn’t quite breathing, taking short, shallow, sharp gasps of anticipation.
“Close your eyes.”
I shut them. “Okay.”
“Tell me what you want me to do right now.” His voice was a low murmur in my ear, his erection nestled between the globes of my ass.
I pushed back against his ass; the words fuck me on the tip of my tongue. But then I realized I didn’t want that, just yet. I wanted something else.
So I asked for it. A simple thing, but with an acquiescence new to me.
“Spank me, Ian.”
SMACK! “You like that, do you?”
I lurched forward when his hand cracked across the left globe of my ass, leaving it tremoring and stinging. “Yeah, I do.”
“Has anyone ever spanked you before, Nina?”
“No. Only you, Ian.”
SMACK! The right cheek, now. And then his fingers slid between my thighs, speared gently into my wet cleft and scissored within me. I gasped, and my knees buckled. Another loud slap to my left ass cheek, timed to a press of his fingers against my clit, and I fell forward so my forehead thunked against the door.
I cried out in ecstasy, ready for the next smack to my right cheek. But when it came, it was on the same side, and was followed by a soft, gently smoothing circle of his palm, soothing the stinging flesh, and I let out a moan. Which was quickly turned into a shriek as Ian scissored his fingers deep inside me and slapped me on the right side, quick, hard, and unexpected. Again. A third time on the same side, and now my flesh there was really starting to smart and I was on the verge of asking him to stop, but then he gave me a third smack and drove his fingertips in and curled them, slid them in and out, creating wet suction sounds, and I felt like I was being ripped in two, sliced open by a sudden rush of clenching heat made all the more delicious somehow for the sweet slight sting of pain on my rear. I let out a breathless moan and Ian switched to the other side, smacking my left globe and finger-fucking me in time with the SMACK—SMACK—SMACK of his big hard hand against my stinging, trembling skin.
An orgasm of continental proportions tore through me, ripping a scream from my lungs, and as I came—knees buckling, breasts swaying and nipples tight, taut, and achingly hard—Ian plunged his cock into me and I lost my breath, lost my capacity to even scream.

FGBB Review

5 Big Lovin’ Stars – Hold Onto Those Panties Ladies, Ian Stirling is Here.

“My heart stopped and my mouth went dry. Well, hello Mr. Chunk o’Hunk.”

Nina Herrera is about to set off on the biggest adventure of her life, she’s been accepted to Oxford University, where she’ll be studying for a Master’s Degree in Literature, her passion. Taking a huge leap of faith and leaving her family and friends behind to travel across the world is exciting, thrilling, liberating and terrifying for Nina. Though the move isn’t the only thing terrifying Nina she has a very real and serious fear of flying. After boarding her plane and settling into seat, she’s surprised and delighted when the sexiest man, she's ever laid eyes on, settling into the seat right next to her.

“Don’t look away. Don’t let it get away. Don’t run.”

Ian Stirling is the man that Nina never saw coming. Sliding into his seat, smelling and looking positively divine, Nina is now feeling blessed, flustered, flushed and still terrified of flying. Bonding almost instantly over their mutual fear of flying, these two have that insta-spark, and it’s entertaining as hell to experience. The banter, the flirting, the smirking, and all that sexual tension makes for a very interesting lead into what is now guaranteed to be a very sexy, very enjoyable read. From them debating men wearing Band-Aids, pink Hello Kitty ones to be exact, to their feelings regarding real men carrying umbrellas and using hand lotion, I was snickering from the very start.

“He smiled at me, and if I hadn’t been sitting down, my panties might have fallen off.”

The tangible desire that simmers between Nina and Ian is decedent and so delicious, I had flushed cheeks, and found myself shifting restlessly in my seat more than once. Ian is a take charge, take the leap kind of guy, whereas Nina is a planner, a labeller, obsess about it till it makes her nuts type of girl. Total opposite personality types, but where they are totally in sync, is in their desire and attraction to each other. Nina is shocked and amazed that such a dreamy specimen could be not only interested in her, but pursuing her openly after only having met her hours before. Ian sees a beautiful, funny, intelligent woman that he has a very real desire to spend more time with and of course pleasure her in ways no man has before.

“I realized this could spell something beautiful…or something heartbreaking. Maybe both.”

Jasinda Wilder gives us yet another erotic and sexy read, perfectly written with expertly placed humor, layered emotions, and enough drama to keep you hooked from the beginning. Her characters are fabulous, giving us a sexy alpha man to swoon, sigh and pant over, but most important, a strong female character that is not supermodel thin or surgically enhanced. Nina represents most women, real women with curves and insecurities, but also an attitude that says love for me, the way I am or shove off. I loved Nina, I’m not going to lie, I did want to smack her upside her pretty head more than once, but that being said she is real. I understood her struggles, her doubts, her fears.

Ian, oh Ian, Ian, Ian, I fell totally in love with him, from the first moment he smirked at Nina on that plane. Charming as the devil himself, with a naughty mouth and a sexy accent, a body that won't quit and some skills that all men should sit up and take notes on, he’s everything you could ever want in a book boyfriend. Ian's a keeper.

I loved this book from start to finish, I highly recommend picking up, Big Love Abroad, truthfully you can never go wrong with a Jasinda Wilder novel, she never fails to deliver the goods. *wink* *wink*

“Nothing is ever simple, Nina. It’s how you deal with the complications that defines who you are.”

excerpt
Hudson “Hudson, it’s your night to set the table,” my mom shouts down the hallway to where I’m hiding out in my room, puffing on my one-hitter while watching Pitch Perfect for the umpteenth time. “Lasagna will be ready in ten minutes. It’s just us tonight.” Groaning, I reluctantly roll off the solid white comforter thrown haphazardly atop my bed until my toes squish into the soft carpet—shag, of course. Then, trudging my way to the kitchen, where my mom and Grams are putting the final touches on dinner, I grab the plates, silverware, and napkins for everyone. Dinnertime with my family, even when it doesn’t include all of the resort’s guests, is certifiably insane. Even though my older sisters flew the coop, they keep showing up at meal times, claiming they miss us, but I know they’re just here for the free meal. Scavengers. Thankfully, tonight’s not one of those nights. I’m not in the mood for their twenty questions about how the date with Beckham went, especially when the flavor of Crew’s lips is still fresh on mine. Not to mention, I’m positive my mom or dad will be sure to ask for the most inappropriate details within the first five minutes of us all sitting down. One of the major downfalls of having unconventional, free-spirited parents who preach peace, love, and rock and roll is having the most awkward, cringe-worthy conversations with them. “Thank you, sweetie.” Mel kisses me on the cheek when I walk by. “When you’re finished, can you tell your dad and Denver that the food’s ready? They’re outside chopping wood for the cold front moving through tomorrow.” “Yeppers. Is it finally gonna snow?” I ask, passing under the arched doorway that leads into our spacious dining room. “That’s what the weather guessers are claiming, at least,” she replies distrustfully, then adds, “Let the girls know it’s time too, please.” Ever since I can remember, we’ve always eaten dinner together at the table, a time to share about our day and stay connected as a family. When my mom says it’s time for dinner, unless we’re sick in bed or have other special plans that have been previously approved, our butts better be in our chairs, ready to participate in the conversation. This has never really bothered me, because before today, I’ve never had anything exciting to talk about, and now that I do, I don’t much feel like it. For once, I want something to be all mine. After I quickly set the table, I call upstairs for Cheyenne and Brighton to come down before alerting Doug and my little brother that it’s time to head inside. I haven’t changed out of my clothes from earlier, wanting to hang on to the faint trace of Crew’s cologne lingering in my plaid flannel shirt, so before everyone else joins me at the table, I take a quick sniff of it and allow a giddy giggle to escape, still a little uncertain about what what happened earlier means. “Yes, you need a shower, and no, it’s not funny.” Cheyenne startles me as she comes up from behind, making me jump several inches in my seat. She plops down next to me and crinkles her nose up like something stinks. “You always smell like outside…earthy; it’s no wonder you never have boyfriends.” “Leave her alone, Chey,” Doug scolds as the rest of the family filters in, everyone taking their usual seat. “She had a date just last night, which I’m sure she’s dying to tell us all about. Aren’t you, Hudson?” I squirm uncomfortably in my chair, hoping no one is paying much attention, since they’re all busy piling their plates full of Italian deliciousness. Several minutes pass without another mention of it, but as soon as everyone has served themselves and settled with their food in front of them, the topic is approached again. “Now, we’re all ears, Hudson. Tell us about last night. When are you seeing him again?” Mel asks eagerly. All eyes are locked on me, everyone waiting for me to divulge into some sensational story of heated passion. Setting my fork down on the edge of my plate, I take a drink of water and clear my throat. “I’m not sure I’ll be going out with Beckham again,” I mumble apprehensively, twisting a napkin in my lap. “The date was pretty bland, and I think we’re just better off as friends.” “Oh, honey, what happened? Were you embarrassed to see him afterwards at school today?” Mel’s expression quickly morphs into one of disappointment and pity. “If so, that’s totally normal. Don’t think he’s gonna go around telling his friends what you were like in bed, ‘cause that’s just a myth. Guys really aren’t like that.” “Yes, we are,” Doug interjects, “but it’s nothing to be ashamed of. Be proud you were good enough that he wanted to gloat. I tell all my friends how incredible Mel is in the sack.” What in the hell? “There’s nothing for him to talk about! We didn’t have sex! He took me to a movie, then brought me home and kissed me goodnight. That was it,” I insist, trying not to make eye contact with anyone while ignoring the snickers from my sisters. “Why not? Did you tell him you weren’t interested?” Mel inquires. Tossing my napkin down on the table, I shout, “No! He didn’t ask if I was interested or not, but if he would’ve, my answer would’ve been no!” I pause to take a deep breath then lower my voice to a calmer octave. “After hanging out together, I just wasn’t feeling it. It was like going out with Denver…there was no spark between us.” No one says a word for what seems like an eternity until Grams chimes in. “Did you feel a spark when you were making out with that cute boy in front of cabin eight this afternoon?” Somebody, please shoot me now. All hell breaks loose at the table as everyone’s shouting different things at me...everyone but Grams, who’s curiously silent again, sitting directly across the table from me, wearing a smug smile like she just won the damn lottery. “Enough! That’s enough!” Doug stands up and bangs his spoon on the table like a judge with a gavel, demanding the courtroom’s attention. Once it’s quiet, he falls back into his chair and slides his eyes over to me. “Hudson, please enlighten us on what Grams is talking about. Is it true?” Fidgeting like a guilty defendant on a witness stand, I shake my head no, but murmur, “Maybe.” More pandemonium ensues, mostly coming from Cheyenne and Brighton, who are arguing they already claimed him and that life isn’t fair. Annoyed that my sisters are trying to make this about them, this time it’s me who jumps out of my seat to get everyone’s attention. “Stop it! All of you! Just stop being so weird!” I scream, my control teetering. They all shut up and stare at me in amazement. I never lose my cool, like never ever, and this is the second time I’ve yelled in less than ten minutes. Shaking my head, I drop my chin to my chest and take several deep breaths. “Look, Beckham is a nice guy, but we’re just gonna be friends, because that’s all I want from him.” I stop and peer up at everyone, ensuring they’re paying attention before continuing, “I don’t know anything about Crew Elliott other than I met him last night, then saw him again this morning, and I felt something different. Call it a spark, an attraction, whatever you want, but it was definitely more than I’ve ever felt around another guy.” “But, sweetie,” my dad interrupts, “they’re only visiting. He’ll be gone next weekend.” “No, they’re actually moving here. Mary, the mom, had a job interview today, and they went looking for a place to live this afternoon,” I clarify as I sit back down. “The younger son, Caleb, has epilepsy, and they haven’t had any luck with the traditional drugs and treatments, so they’re moving here in hopes that medical marijuana can help with his seizures and migraines.” Both of my parents’ eyes fill with compassion as I go into detail about the family’s situation, and I know instantly that no matter what happens between me and Crew—even if it’s nothing at all—they’ll want to assist in any way possible. I explain how I researched the strains and took some samples of our stuff over to the cabin this evening, in order for Caleb to hopefully get some relief while they’re getting settled here. “You know we’ll do whatever we can, Hudson,” Mel says sincerely, glancing around the table. “All of us…anything they need. I can’t even imagine what that poor woman’s going through. We’ve been so blessed to have healthy kids.” Nodding appreciatively at my mom and dad, I relax momentarily, thinking the craziness has passed, but the second I pick my fork up, ready to finally dig into the now-cool meal in front of me, Cheyenne opens her big mouth. “What does any of this have to do with you kissing Crew today?” she snaps, obviously still bothered by the thought. However, rather than blowing up again or telling her to mind her own business, I simply flash a sugary-sweet smile in her direction and say, “Girls who smell like dirt must do it for him.”

4.5 STARS - Spark Ignites The Fire Within

“This is not part of the plan. She is not part of the plan.”

Hudson Shavelle has a huge family, 5 siblings, 2 loving parents and a grandma that says whatever is on her mind. Their life is an organized chaos that has them spending their days running the family resort, Fire on the Mountain in Colorado. This resort is a special place, known for its alternative amenities, and specializes in relaxation.

Crew Elliott is used to taking care of his family, his younger brother Caleb is not well and his mother works hard to support them. His family has not had it easy, Caleb’s medical condition is worsening and the doctors are all clueless as to how to help him. Something has to change, and moving seems like the best solution to their problems.

Spark is very different from Noelle’s previous books. Spark explores some alternative lifestyles and medical treatments, it’s a sensual, emotional romance. Hudson and Crew have that magical spark from the moment they meet. It’s powerful, overwhelming, sexy, and addictive. Hudson and her extensive family bond immediately with the Elliotts, they accept them into the family and soon everything is falling into place. Caleb is improving steadily with Hudson’s treatments and enjoying the change of scenery. Crew’s mother is loving her new job. They have a beautiful apartment and life is great. Just when everything seems perfect the unimaginable happens and everything changes, life is never going to be the same.

“Take what you need. I’m all yours.”

Noelle’s writing style has a way of sucking you in. The pacing and flow are fantastic. The emotional scenes are written with such insight and skill. She is meticulous in her pursuit to connect and move the reader. This book took a turn midway that I left me devastated, I never saw it coming. I sat there stunned and crushed it rolled over me like a tidal wave, pulling me under. Spark lets readers experience the highs of falling in love for the very first time, the sheer devastation that comes from loss, the struggle in forgiveness, learning to let move on from the past while retaining the good. I loved this book, Spark is the debut of a brand new series from Erin Noelle and I’ll be looking forward to the books that follow.

“I’m scared to hand you my heart, now that I know the power you have over it.”
