Being engaged to Alex Waters, team captain and the highest paid NHL player in the league, is awesome. How could it not be?
In addition to being an amazing hockey player, he’s an incurable romantic with an XL heart, and an XXL hockey stick in his pants. And he knows how to use it. Incredibly, orgasmically well. Alex is the whole package and more. Literally. Like his package is insane. Total world record holder material.
So it makes complete sense that Violet Hall can’t wait to nail him down to the matrimonial mattress and become Mrs. Violet Waters.
It’s so romantic.
Violet is totally stoked to set a date.
Eventually. At some point. Likely before the next millennium. Or when Violet stops getting hives every time someone brings up the wedding, and their mothers stop colluding on stadium sized venues. Whichever comes first.

6 STARS – Forever Pucked is jam packed with awesome! I want MORE! And you will too!!!
“Life isn’t all roses and unicorn farts made of glitter and Chanel No. 5. There are as many downs as there are ups. I need to learn how to manage them.”
When Forever Pucked landed on my kindle, I did a little dance and smiled to myself. There may have also been a bit of squealing and flailing of arms. This series has become an addiction for me and I can never seem to get enough. This latest book is the fourth book in a series that always delivers; it’s gut bustlingly funny, smart, quirky, incredibly sexy, and unputdownable. Helena Hunting knows how to craft a story and characters that keep you engaged from the moment you begin page one, chapter one.
Alex and Violet are back in Forever Pucked, along with the rest of the gang. This time around we are still waiting for the couple to bite the bullet and tie the knot, small issue though, every time someone even mentions the wedding Violet breaks out in hives. For real. The mothers want a big affair with hundreds of people in attendance, while Violet and Alex want simple and elegant, with their friends and family by their sides. Comp remises are going to need to be made if they ever have a chance of making it down the aisle.
Violet’s career is really taking off and she’s excited about it, but after an altercation on the ice the balance that has worked so well in the past for Violet and Alex is thrown into chaos. This book took a turn that I must admit, I never saw coming. At one point my heart was racing in fear and I had clammy hands, I was terrified of where I was heading. It all of course works out in the end, but for a while there I was seriously terrified. Well played Helena, well played. I should have known that you would make it all better again; happily ever afters are your specialty after all.
Forever Pucked is totally amazing and it is just as addictive as the books that came before it. All of the things that we loved about previous books in this series are here. The Violetisms, The Beaver and the Super MC, the close knit group of friends that now feel like family, the shenanigans that always ensue when this group gets together, the panty melting sexy scenes that threaten to set your e-reader on fire, the absolute hilariousness that has become the signature of the Pucked series, the sweetness of romance and the uncompromising love. Did I mention drama, oh there will always be drama…with Violet involved, how could there not be? The chatter of babies, weddings, blinged out beavers, Area 51, swinging, Super Mc’s wardrobe, Oreo licking, growing up and becoming responsible adulting adults is both heartwarming and entertaining as hell.
“I don’t get the fascination. Why aren’t vaginas and mouths enough? Why do guys need to stick their dicks in all the holes, not just the ones they fit in easiest?”
Forever Pucked reunites the entire gang, with Alex and Violet being the main focus of the story. What makes it so great though, is the fact that everyone else’s story is interwoven into this one as well. Randy, Lily, Miller, and Sunny are all back and the laughs and feels are freely given. I love this group of characters so much at this point; I can never, ever get enough. If Helena Hunting decided to make this series into a never ending saga, no one would be happier than me. I feel like this group could inspire stories for years to come and never lose their appeal.
If you have read and loved the previous books in this series, Pucked, Pucked Up, Pucked Over, then I can guarantee you are going love this one as well. With enough laughs to keep your belly aching and your bladder straining, enough feels to keep your heart aching, racing and soaring, and enough heat to make your e-reader fog up and overheat, Forever Pucked delivers on every level. Helena Hunting may very well be the queen of Romantic Comedy. Over and over again she delivers books that continue to keep us glued to the pages of her stories. Her writing is superb, her characters original and unreplaceable, and the stories are unique and beyond hilarious! Readers are going to go nuts all over again for this latest book and become re-obsessed with the characters. The Pucked Fandom will rejoice and then cry for MORE! MORE! MORE! I am willing to lay money on it. Helena Hunting you had better begin plotting that next novel, I am not ready to let go of Miller, Randy, Alex, Lily, Violet, or Sunny yet. I think that they still have more to say… just saying.
“I know you don’t buy the whole love at first sight thing, but I believe some people are destined to be together. Maybe we came together because of lust and Fielding, but we stayed together of love. You’re my forever, Alex.”
OTHER BOOKS IN THE PUCKED SERIES...
BLURB
With a famous NHL player for a stepbrother, Violet Hall is well acquainted with the playboy reputation of many a hockey star. So of course she isn’t interested in legendary team captain Alex Waters or his pretty, beat-up face and rock-hard six-pack abs. When Alex inadvertently obliterates Violet’s misapprehension regarding the inferior intellect of hockey players, he becomes much more than just a hot body with the face to match. Suffering from a complete lapse in judgment, Violet discovers just how good Alex is with the hockey stick in his pants. Violet believes her night of orgasmic magic with Alex is just that: one night. But Alex starts to call. And text. And email and send extravagant—and quirky—gifts. Suddenly, he's too difficult to ignore, and nearly impossible not to like.
The problem is, the media portrays Alex as a total player, and Violet doesn’t want to be part of the game.

Miller “Buck” Butterson has been banging his way through life ever since a puck to the face fixed his messed up front teeth. After five years in the NHL, deflecting goals on the ice and scoring them with puck bunnies, Miller has decided he’s ready for a girlfriend. A real, non-bunny girlfriend to take on dates, and not jump into bed with after five seconds of conversation. Miller thinks he’s found that woman in his teammate’s sister. Except, unlike team captain and all-around nice guy Alex Waters—who happens to date his stepsister, Miller’s media reputation as a manwhore is well earned. Beyond that minor detail, Miller doesn’t know the first thing about relationships or the time and effort they require.
Miller learns—eventually—that if he wants to make Sunshine “Sunny” Waters fall for him, he's going to have to do a whole lot more than show her his stick skills in the bedroom.
BLURB
Lily LeBlanc isn’t versed in the art of casual sex, but after seven years in an on-again, off-again relationship, she’s definitely willing to give it a shot. And who better to try it with than her best friend’s boyfriend’s best friend? What could possibly go wrong? NHL player, Randy Ballistic, lives up to his last name on the ice and in the bedroom. His best friend and teammate has recently given up the puck bunnies and traded them in for a real girlfriend. And she just happens to have a seriously feisty, extra-hot best friend on the rebound. Randy’s more than happy to be Lily’s spring board back into the dating scene.
But casual sex is only casual until those pesky things called emotions get involved. Once that happens, someone’s bound to get pucked over.
