OFFICIAL BOOK TOUR
Soulless by T.M. Frazier
Bear & Thia’s epic is FINALLY HERE!
PROLOGUE
I was mad at the world, at the whiskey for not being strong enough, at the drugs for not lasting long enough, at the fucking whores I banged for not getting me off when it was my fault my dick was fucking useless after a bucket of fucking blow. I went so far as to be pissed at random people on the street for laughing or smiling when I felt like I’d never be able to smile or laugh again.
How dare they?
How fucking dare they be move on with their lives like my friend hadn’t just died.
I was on the verge of losing what little sanity I had left when I rode out of Logan's Beach and set off to find a place, or places, where I could numb myself against the feelings that followed me from town to town, cheap motel to cheap motel, girl to girl, high to fucking high.
Then, this pink haired girl from the past came barreling into my life and it was like for the first time, I’d found a purpose. A real genuine purpose and not just some shit Chop spewed out as orders that I and every other member of the Beach Bastards took as bible, but a true reason to live again.
To WANT to live again.
Someone to live for.
Ti was my chance at some sort of real happiness when Lord fucking knows I had no idea what that really was before her. The only glimpses of real genuine happiness I'd ever had came courtesy of Preppy, King, and of course Grace. Like when King tattooed us for the first time and we loved them, even though they were crooked and downright fucking awful. Like when Grace made me my very first birthday cake. Like the time King Prep and I sat at the top of the water tower and thought the world was ours to take.
Because at that time, it was.
Then there was Ti and my new happiness became the first time I saw her smile. The first time I kissed her. The first time I tasted her pussy by the fire. The first time she let me inside of her, shamelessly pushing through her virginity in a frantic need to make her mine.
Because that's what she was.
That's what she would always be.
And I will kill every motherfucker who dares to try and take her from me.
Mine.
MY REVIEW
“Bear was as beautiful as he was hard. He was as complex as he was simple. He was both the storm and the calm. The fear and the solace. The rage and the peace. My life and my love”
6 STARS – Soulless is dark, intense, shocking, and one hell of a wild ride! This book is not for the faint of heart. Brace yourself; T.M. Frazier is going to BLOW your mind!!!
“Ti was my chance at some sort of real happiness when Lord f*#@ing knows I had no idea what that really was before her.”
Bear and Thia’s story continues in Soulless and after the MASSIVE cliff-hanger at the end of Lawless I was desperate to have this next book in my hot little hands. T.M. Frazier left all of us gasping and unsettled at the end of the last book, so when this book landed on my kindle I could not wait to read it. Soulless picks up right where we had left off, there is no lapse in time, but we are not given the answers that we so desperately need right away. No we are going to have to wait just a bit longer, as all will be revealed in the end. Bear has made a desperate play in order to protect Thia and now he is relying on his closest friends to ensure that she does indeed remain safe. The MC that used to be Bear’s life is of no use to him, his father is most certainly of no use to him but what remains unchanged is that King is and always will be Bear’s greatest and most loyal ally. King will do whatever needs to be done to help his best friend and vice versa, no matter the cost.
“The Bastards were now more like a terrorist organization, bound not by loyalty, but by the orders spewed from the mouth of a power-hungry, soulless tyrant.”
In this book we are given some much needed insight into the past and with this insight some of the many pieces to this very complicated puzzle finally begin to fall into place. Answers to questions I have had from the very start of this series are finally coming to light. The betrayal, the lies, the violence are beginning to makes sense. What remains clear from the very start and remains constant throughout this entire story is Bear and Thia’s love for each other. It is never questioned and it is obvious that these two very damaged souls are each other’s perfect match. Bear loves Thia for the way she is and Thia feels the same way about Bear. They know each other on the deepest levels and neither of them will ever try to change the other. This, my friends is true love.
“To me, a tornado has always been the force of nature capable of the most damage. Until I met a force of nature that would make a tornado seem like a morning breeze. One that picked me up, made me feel like I could soar as it tossed me around, sent me reeling, and threw me back down to the ground, leaving me broken and fighting for my life. And his. Bear.”
As this story progresses, you will be sucked deeper and deeper in to this fictional world that T.M. Frazier has created and if you are anything like me, you will have a very hard time remembering that it is indeed fictional. I have become so emotionally attached to all of the characters in this series, that I felt all of their heartache, confusion, rage and loss. That being said I also felt all of their triumphs and the love that they have for one and other as well. Soulless in my opinion is the darkest book in this series to date. The story itself is very intense and totally unapologetic. The characters are far from perfect and they come with a metric sh*t tonne of baggage, but this is what makes them so endearing. Bear, King, Thia, and Ray all have their own issues but together and united it seems that they can overcome anything. Chop is still out for blood, and the MC is a no longer a club of brothers but now a gang. A gang that in no way resembles the one that Bear remembers belonging to. The escalating violence, the murders and the general lack of regard for human life is all building to what I can promise you will be an explosive climax. You will be hanging onto to the edge of your seat just waiting to see what will happen next. You will have so many questions and will be desperate for answers. You will have your heart broken all over again when death and grief knocks on these characters’ door yet again. The closer you get to the end; the story just continues to become even more intense. My heart was pounding so hard, I was biting my nails, my leg was jumping. I was an anxiety ridden mess!
“Promise me that no matter what, you won’t give up on me. Promise me, Ti.”
“I’ll just miss you. I do miss you. I miss the way you make me feel like a person of the world, instead of a problem in it.”
In the last 1% of the book, true story, the very last 1% T.M. Frazier delivers her final blow, a massive twist, a revelation so incredibly shocking that I had to go back and read the passage three times, before it actually sunk in that it had actually just happened! MIND BLOWN! I was beyond shocked. I was confused as hell and sat there thinking… “WTF DID I JUST READ????? DID THAT REALLY JUST HAPPEN???? WHO??? NO F*CKING WAY!!!!! HOW??? WHY??? IS THIS REAL??? IT’S REAL!!!! OMG YESSS!!! YES!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! T.M FRAZIER YOU ARE A F*CKING EVIL GENIUS!!!!!!! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!! BEST BOOK EVER!!!!! NOW GIVE ME MORE!!!! I NEED MORE NOW!!!!!”
This book is going to require you to pull on the big girl panties and settle in for the long haul. Soulless is most definitely not for the faint hearted and if you cannot handle being uncomfortable, then this is probably not the book for you. Some of the scenes that take place within these pages are disturbing and twisted, that being said, there are more than a few beautiful and poignant moments as well. As reader if you are willing to submit to the story than you will be more satisfied than you could have ever imagined with how this one is going to end. It will be a painful process and there is going to be some massive bumps along the way but you will get there, I promise. Bottom line, this book is AMAZING and POWERFUL. It is without a doubt worth every bit of the wait and it is a MUST READ for anyone who is a fan of this series, of this author or a lover of dark romances. The series should be read in order and if you have not read it yet, YOU MUST. King, Tyrant, Lawless and now Soulless are all on my list of all-time favorite reads. I cannot recommend this series strongly enough. T.M. Frazier is an evil, ginger, genius and we all need to bow to her greatness! Congratulations to Tracy for creating a story so incredibly perfect that I will be thinking about it for a very long time to come. I cannot wait to see what that deviously, delicious mind of hers creates for us next.
