More than Enough
by Jay McLean is coming!

More than Enough is Dylan's story and it is to be (for now) the last book in a series that has captured not only my heart but a piece of my soul. The characters have become like friends to me, and when I finally read the last words within these pages it is guaranteed that I will be a blubbering, soggy mess!
I've read and reviewed each of the previous books, as they were released, I attached the links to all of my reviews on Goodreads. I've also attached the purchase links for all of the previous books in the series. This series is one of my all-time favourites, and if you haven't already read them, I cannot stress enough how much you need to! I'm currently re-reading the entire series, so that I am more than ready for More than Enough to release!
November 16th, mark you calendars!

“It's just you. It's only ever been just you. It will always only ever
be just you.”

When Mikayla imagined her prom night, she envisioned a fairy-tale evening full of romance. So when betrayal and tragedy come in quick succession, Mikayla is completely destroyed. Suddenly, everything she loved and everyone she relied on are tragically, irrevocably gone.
Jake, a handsome boy she just met, happens to witness her loss. With no one to turn to, Mikayla is forced to depend on this near stranger and his family, and he in turn is determined to take care of her. But Mikayla—thrust into adulthood with no one to guide her—is desperate to contain her grief and hide what she considers to be her weakness. Mikayla and Jake both want more, but despite their growing closeness and intense chemistry, she tries to keep her distance and protect her heart. As he does everything in his power to win her trust, Mikayla must choose between remaining alone and safe or letting love in.

“You and me," he shouted. "We're going to make new

memories. Ones that you aren't afraid of. And it's going to be

amazing.”

****Please note that this is the second book in the series and should not be read prior to reading More Than This. ****
"For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction."
For every choice you make there are rewards, or there are consequences.
It was my choice to walk away the first time.
And my choice to chase her the second.
But sometimes you don't get a choice,
and all you get are the consequences.
"Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength,
while loving someone deeply gives you courage.”
Unless that someone is Logan Matthews.
Because loving him didn't give me the strength to walk away.
It didn't give me the courage to fight for him.
And when it was over, all it gave me was a broken heart.

“You meant the world to me. And if you didn't know that--if you

couldn't see that--then that's how I'll start. Every day I'll show

you, and every day I'll prove to you just how much you mean to

me. How much you still mean to me.”

****Please note that this is the third book in the series and should not be read prior to reading the first two.****
"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us." - Marianne Williamson
We live in a world of darkness and shadows,
where monsters hide and aim to ruin.
And they did.
They ruined us and turned our dreams into nightmares.
But now we're back.
And we're fighting.
Not just for us, or for each other, but for our light.

“I feel like I've loved you for eternity, and it's not even close to long enough.”

****More Than Forever is book four in the More Than series and may be read as a standalone, though it is recommended to read in series order.****
-LUCY-
There is a love so fierce it cannot be measured.
A heart so strong it will never slow.
There is a promise so sure it can never lie.
He promised me that love forever.
Even when it wasn't enough.
-CAMERON-
Forever. Everlasting. Eternal.
There is no measure of time.
No sounds of the ticking of a clock.
Just the rising and falling of the sun.
And our own sense of forever.
But our forever isn't always.

OTHER BOOKS BY JAY MCLEAN...
We all play victims to our pasts; to the choices we make and the lives we create.
They define who we are.
And sometimes if we're lucky enough, the past stays where it belongs: in the past.
I'm not one of the lucky ones.
I never have been.
Because now the past is knocking on my door, offering deals I have no choice but to take… deals that will help bring justice—not just for me, but for my brothers.
The problem?
The deal is a ticking time bomb.
One I didn't know existed.
Tick.
Tock.

****Warning: This book contains mildly inappropriate everything.
-28,500 words standalone NOVELLA****

So…I came up with a plan.
I sat the brothers down and gave them my speech; we’d become male escorts.
The house was split.
The single dudes thought it was great. The guys with the steady girlfriends told the single dudes they were insane.
I promised them all we could make it work without hurting anybody. But we had to be smart about it. We had to keep it off campus. We had to keep it a secret. And in order to do so, we had to target those who wanted it kept a secret as much as we did.
Our target: Filthy rich, unsatisfied, horny housewives.
Keep it high class, so to speak.
And thus began BTC, or Boy Toy Corporation.
Crazy, right?
Crazy genius.
-Tyler West.

Chloe has one plan for the future, and one plan only: the road. She’s made a promise to herself: don’t let anyone in, and don’t let anyone love her. She’s learned the hard way what happens if she breaks her rules. So she’s focused on being invisible and waiting until she can set out on the road—her dream of freedom, at least for a little while.
Blake Hunter is a basketball star who has it all—everything about him looks perfect to those on the other side of his protective walls. He can’t let anyone see the shattered pieces behind the flawless facade or else all his hopes and dreams will disappear.
One dark night throws Chloe and Blake together, changing everything for Blake. For Chloe, nothing changes: she has the road, and she’s focused on it. But when the so-called perfect boy starts to notice the invisible girl, they discover that sometimes with love, no one knows where the road may lead.
MY REVIEW

There’s a single defining moment within every skater.
It lasts only a second. Two if you're good.
Three if you’re really good.
It’s the moment you’re in the air, your board somewhere
beneath you, and nothing but wind surrounds you.
It’s the feeling of being airborne.
The sixteen-year-old version of me would’ve said it was the
greatest feeling in the world.
Then at seventeen, I had my son.
And every single second became a defining moment. Even the ones that consisted of heartbreak when his mother left us.
Seventeen. Single. Dad.
That’s what my life became.
Yet, every day, I managed to find that feeling of being
airborne.
Or at least I convinced myself I did.
But I lied—to myself and to everyone around me.
Until she showed up; Tanned skin, raven dark hair, and eyes the color of emeralds.
You know what sucks about being in the air?
Coming down from the high.
Sometimes you land on the board and nail the trick.
Then kick, push, and coast away.
Other times you fall.
You fall hard.
And those are the times when it’s not as easy to get back up, dust off your pads and try again.
Especially when the girl with the emerald eyes becomes your drug...
And you become her poison.
