Title: Yanked
Author: Melanie Harlow

Mia Devine fell hard for Lucas Fournier after their magical week in Paris. But eight months later, the free-spirited half-French musician still hasn't made any promises about their future. And as magnifique as long-distance phone sex is, nothing compares to the real thing.

Fed up with stolen weekends and lonely nights, Mia flies to New York armed with a list of reasons why they should take the next step, but an unexpected guest in Lucas's apartment derails her plans. He’s been keeping secrets--worse, he claims he's happy with the way things are.

Without the magic of Paris, can their mismatched love survive?

Yanked (Book 2)
“You made me like surprises.” “You made me like forever.” 5 Sexy Stars One of my favorite book couples is back in this super sexy follow up novella to Frenched. Yanked is a short, but steamy return to Mia and Lucas’s romance. I ripped through it in one sitting on a Sunday afternoon. This is a perfect follow up to Frenched; it’s still super sexy, witty with a little angst, and drama thrown in there to round it all out. The lists are back and I LOVE them!!!! They have neither lost their appeal nor their humour. I found myself getting giddy each time Mia gave us a new one. And her inner monologue... priceless. Mia’s girls are back and they will still make you laugh till you snort. Mia and Lucas are in a committed relationship, but the long distance is beginning to weigh on them both, but more so Mia. While Mia struggles with her feelings for Lucas and trying to adapt to her new found spontaneity, Lucas is struggling in his own way.
The 5 Best Parts of Yanked
1. Lucas’s dirty talking….sigh that boy has a deliciously filthy mouth 2. Mia’s Continuing Lists 3. Erin and Cocoa’s humour 4. The sex scenes are off the charts HAWT 5. The truly wonderful flow and magic of Melanie Harlow’s writing Favorite Scene Lucas shrugged. “I guess it’s worth considering. We’ll have to do some serious research though. Sketch out some preliminary plans.” I flattened out my palms on the table with a bang. “Make…some lists?” I shivered. “I think I just had an orgasm.” Laughing, he picked up his coffee. “I’ll drink to that.”

Frenched (Book 1) 5 Fabulously Naughty Stars Received an ARC in exchange for an honest review I went into Frenched, pretty blind, I had it on my TBR list and had seen a few teasers, but I had no clue what I was truly in for. For example, that I would become entranced and lying in bed at 2:30am not wanting to stop, after working all day. That I would giving my husband death glares, and wanting to strangle him, because his snoring was ruining “the mood” while I was falling in love/lust with Lucas. Sigh, swoon, fans self, sigh...sorry I got distracted. Mia, ah God I totally love her. She’s incredibly fun. She’s feisty, intelligent, successful, sarcastic, completely neurotic when it comes to planning (Hello, The Lists), recently jilted and newly single. When we first meet Mia, she has been in hiding for the better part of a week, not leaving her bed, even to shower. She’s been dumped via text message, and understandably not dealing with it so well. Enter the girlfriends, Erin and Coco intervene just in time for a little girl time, which may or may not have included a little quality scissor time. Now armed with some very shaky self confidence, a very real fear of flying and being alone, Mia sets out on her adventure. Mia arrives in Paris and that very same day while lost, she meets a man, a man that is the complete opposite of everything she’s always thought she desired. He is everything she never knew she needed or wanted. Lucas. The Bartender. The Musician. The Tour Guide. The Wine Connoisseur. The Teacher (in more ways than one *wink*). The chemistry between Lucas and Mia is delicious and titillating. Mia and her smart mouth, Lucas being his impossibly sexy self, it’s a match made in Paris. Taking charge in and out of the bedroom, he leads Mia to a full blown sexual awakening. Once set free from the lack lustre confines of her previous relationship, she embraces her new found sexuality and realizes she truly is desirable. No longer inhibited and afraid of what she wants, Mia is set free. Her O is set free. Melanie Harlow’s writing is perfection and addictive. Once you begin, there is no turning back. She creates a beautiful scenic story that is incredibly seductive, erotic and more than a little naughty. There are scenes within this book that will make you quiver and shiver. They will make you tingle, in all the best places. Scenes that will leave you full on belly laughing. Scenes that are incredibly sweet and romantic. Scenes that leave your heart swelling and near bursting. Frenched gives all the feels. If you are looking for a fabulously fun, super sexy, panty melting read, Frenched will leave your desires more than satisfied. Memorable Moments
“I fucking love it when you move that way, like you can’t get enough of my cock.” “He teased me with his tongue like he was tying a knot in a cherry stem. A double knot. He licked me like a double scoop of French Vanilla on a hot summer day. At the equator. He savoured me like I could melt in his mouth but he didn’t want me to.” “Lucas I came here to get stronger, to start enjoying life on my own again. Instead I fell for you, and knowing that I have to walk away is enough to break me. Let me go, please.” “Time is a strange thing when you’re in love.”

Melanie Harlow likes her martinis dry, her lipstick red, and her history with the naughty bits left in. She's a 20th century fanatic and gets her kicks from historical fiction and TV series like Boardwalk Empire, Magic City, Deadwood, Mad Men, and Downtown Abbey (although she wishes it were more HBO and less PBS).
