The Chronicles of Moxie is a Fantabulously Fun Debut
✩✩✩✩✩
Moxie is a single woman, and kindergarten teacher, stumbling
not so gracefully through her life. Men come and go and none really seem to
stick, then he walks in… Miles. Moxie
what does she do? Still laughing my ass off, I’ll tell you, she *&%#@. This begins our venture into Moxie’s world.
“I dared myself to look back at the Adonis, who
was now sitting at the bar, shooting the shit with Simon. Even though I was
drunk enough to not feel my feet, looking at this man made my cocoon of love
stir and I wanted his caterpillar nestled in it.”
Laugh out loud funny, sexy, quirky, sarcastic, unique and
scarily addictive. Z.B. Heller manages to deliver not only a “f*cktastic”
debut novel, but she also gives us unique and refreshingly realistic characters
that will have you wishing they were your new BFFs. Moxie is pretty much every
woman, at some point of their life. She is a truly realistic version of a
modern day woman. Renne and Ryan are the friends every woman should have in her
corner, and that Martha… OMG she makes the evil stepmother in Cinderella look
like June Cleaver. Miles… mmmmmmm Miles… I just adore him, DILF material for
sure. Dillion, Mile’s son is just too cute for words.
The writing here is superb and witty. Z.B Heller is not taking
herself too seriously and what we get here is just pure side splitting humour.
My tummy hurt while reading The Chronicles of Moxie, I haven’t laughed that
hard since reading Wallbanger by the fabulous Alice Clayton and Seduction and
Snacks by the one and only Tara Sivec. Some of the beauty one liners in this
one will have you roaring with laughter.
“Listen, Snatchquash, we’ve got a real problem
here.”
It’s not all laughs though, there’s romance, some drama and
enough sexy times to keep all romance lovers more than satisfied.
“Moxie, you’re going to give me a complex, looking
at me like that.” “Sorry, I can’t help it. I was trying to figure out the
logistics of moving my organs around so that would fit in me.”
The Chronicles of Moxie ticks all the boxes, romance readers
everywhere are going to talking about Moxie and her escapades for a quite some
time. If you enjoy romantic comedy, this is your next read. I’m going on the
record right now saying this will be a bestseller, it’s going to be your next
favorite book and the one you’ll be dying to share with all your friends. So stop being a twat waffle and
go get your copy NOW!
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
I'm still laughing my ass off
