New Release

~Blurb~
When life crashes down around us, how hard are we willing to fight for the one thing we can’t live without, each other?

Life is full of moments.
Big moments.
Little moments.
And none of them are inconsequential.
Every single moment prepares you for that one instance that defines your life. You must overcome all your fears, confront the demons that chase you, and cleanse the poison that clings to your soul or you risk the chance of losing everything.

Mine started the minute Rylee fell out of that damn storage closet. She made me feel. Made me whole when all I thought I could ever be was incomplete. Became the lifeline I never knew I needed. Hell yes, she’s worth the fight…but how do you fight for someone you know you don’t deserve?

Love is full of ups and downs.
Heart stopping highs.
Soul shattering lows.
And none of them are insignificant.
Love is a racecourse of unexpected twists and turns that must be negotiated. You have to break down walls, learn to trust, and heal from your past in order to win. But sometimes it’s the expected that’s the hardest to hold on to.

Colton has healed and completed me, stolen my heart, and made me realize our love’s not predictable nor perfect—it’s bent. And bent’s okay. But when outside factors put our relationship to the test, what lengths will I have to go to prove to him that he’s worth the fight?

Whoever said love is patient and love is kind, never met the two of us. We know our love is worth it—have acknowledged that we were meant to be—but when our pasts crash into our future, will the repercussions make us stronger or break us apart?

Crashed – K. Bromberg

6 MotherF#cking Checkered ★★★★★★
For Me Top Read of 2014

“Spiderman. Batman. Superman. Ironman”

When we last saw Colton and Rylee, my hands were sweaty, my pulse was racing and I had tears streaming down my face. I was in a very scary and bad place; I mean how could Fueled end where it did? I thought my kindle was broken or having a senior moment or something. Needless to say I have been waiting for Crashed since the moment I finished Fueled. I read Crashed in less than 24 hours, on release day. I dropped and pushed everything else aside. When I finished, I needed a break before I could even begin to process my thoughts enough and attempt to write this review. K. Bromberg has taken this series to another level of awesome, with this last book. Crashed is most assuredly the best book in the series, and I adored Driven and Fueled. So this is high praise. Driven and Fueled both made my favorites list for 2013. Crashed just blew them away. Have you ever read a series, where each book is better than the last? The Driven Trilogy is just that.

“Be my spark, Ry.”

Crashed broke me down emotionally so many times, I lost count. My husband walks into the room, he says, “Hey what are you doing?” As I am sobbing, like full on runny nose, swollen eyes can’t catch my breath, ugly girl crying/sobbing over my iPad. “Reading...this...book...it’s killing...me...” is my very broken, not really audible response. And that was at like 10%! Hubs response to my response, shakes his head, sighs and leaves the room. You see he’s finally learned you can’t talk to me and have an intelligent conversation whilst, I’m reading! Especially when I’m reading a book I have been waiting for, well FOREVER!

Writing this review and not getting spoilery is going to be hard, but I’m going to give this my best shot.

Crashed is all of these things and by far, so much more, are you ready? Emotionally gutting, beautiful, touching, funny, captivating, panty obliterating, sexy, frustrating, I could go on for hours, but I think you get my point! I race this book! I race this series! I race Colton and Rylee! I even race Haddie and her Haddie-isms... The characters are beyond fabulous. Rylee inspires me, her strength, and determination. Her ability to forgive and love unconditionally left me in awe. Colton is stubborn and determined in his own right, but on a whole other level. He’s incredibly strong, passionate, and sexy. Holy Hell Sexy, to be honest. The words that come out of that man’s mouth make my panties melt away... sigh...

“You’re my fucking checkered flag.”

I have over 100 highlighters on this book, I adored every freaking word. How K. Bromberg has created something so touching, memorable, and sexy is a mystery to me, but I give credit where it’s due. Her writing is beautiful, poignant, touching, impeccable. Just Perfection. Crashed is a book that will never leave me, Colton and Rylee remain one of my favourite book couples ever...they always will be. Their story is one of tragedy, loss, healing, love, forgiveness, and moving forward in life, no matter what. The ghosts of the past can never be forgotten, but you can make a choice. Let them haunt you, and eat away at your soul, or you can drive them out into the light, where they’re never as scary and allow the people who love you the most to help you, to heal. Heart and Soul.

Have you read Driven, Fueled and Crashed yet? Because I’m not entirely sure that’s possible! Remedy That Right Now!

Unforgettable Moments

“It’s so much easier to assuage someone else’s despair than to face my own.”

“You were a spark solid colour to me in a world that’s always been one big mixed blur of it...”

“Breathe, Donovan. Fucking breathe. She didn’t leave. She’s still here. The neutralizer to the acid that eats my soul.”

“And if he didn’t own my heart already – if he hadn’t tattooed every inch of it with his unmistakable stamp – he just did.”

“Well if you think I fuck like I drive, you should see me drop the hammer and race you to the finish line.”

  “Nothing between us but sheets.”

About The Author

K. Bromberg is that reserved woman sitting in the corner that has you all fooled about the wild child inside of her—the one she lets out every time her fingertips touch the computer keyboard. She’s a wife, mom, child rustler, toy pick-er-upper, chauffer, resident web-slinger, LaLaloopsy watching, American Girl doll dressing multi-tasker of all things domestic and otherwise. She likes her diet cokes with rum, her music loud, and her pantry stocked with a cache of chocolate. K. lives in Southern California with her husband and three children. When she needs a break from the daily chaos of her life, you can most likely find her on the treadmill or with Kindle in hand, devouring the pages of a good, saucy book. Crashed is K. Bromberg’s third published novel and is the highly anticipated final book of “The Driven Trilogy.” Driven and Fueled were her well-received debuts novels and Books #1 and #2 of the series.
