FOREVER WITH YOU
by
Laurelin Paige

Alayna Withers relationship with Hudson Pierce has tested both her and his ability to trust. They decide that the only way they can move forward together is with open doors and transparency. It won’t be easy for the scarred lovers, but they’re committed to each other more now than ever. Alayna, in particular, has grown through their trials, and has emerged more confident and faithful to the man she loves.

But while the pair is focused on the future, their past shows up again to threaten their fragile bond. Promises that were made are broken, and Alayna learns that Hudson still has very potent secrets—secrets that will tear them both apart. As much as she feels for him, her ability to forgive and forget is tested beyond her limits.

Even though she found the only man who could fix her, a forever with Hudson seems more and more out of reach.

~FWY EXCERPT ~

Hudson traced my cheek with his finger. “You know all you have to do is ask and it’s yours.”A sudden wave of anxiety rolled through my belly. I turned to face the back of Jordan’s head. “Actually, I don’t know that, and honestly, that sort of makes me uncomfortable.”Hudson put his hand on my neck. “Why?”There were lots of reasons. But I settled on the most obvious. “I don’t want to be the floozy manager who only gets things because she’s fucking the owner.”
My eyes were still on Jordan. He was so good at his job—he didn’t even flinch at my crass language.
Hudson, it seemed, preferred that the conversation remain between us. He leaned in to whisper in my ear. “First of all, I love that you’re fucking the owner. Please don’t stop. Second, that’s not why you get things. You get things because you’re qualified. If you’d shown up to the interviews after the symposium, you would have had people fighting for you. But third, and most importantly, you get things from me because you’re my other half. Everything that is mine is yours. My connections, my money, my influence—it’s all half yours.”
I shivered. While I adored the sentiment—craved it, in fact—it also made my panic buttons go off. Those were the kinds of words that could make me think things I shouldn’t think. That I was more important than I was. That we were closer than we were. They were trigger words for me, and though I’d been healthy with Hudson, it had only come from diligence on my part.
But how I wanted to wrap myself in his declaration…
I swallowed. “I don’t know how to respond to that.”
Hudson nuzzled his nose against my earlobe. “You aren’t ready for that, I know. But I needed to tell you. As for your response, how about you say you’ll run our club?”
“I’ll run your club.”
“Ah—”
I knew my mistake immediately. Funny, how strongly I wanted to correct myself. I turned to meet his eyes. “I’ll run our club.”
“Now kiss me because you’ve made me a very happy man.”
He didn’t have to ask me twice. He didn’t even really have to ask me once, because his lips were covering mine as I opened my mouth to agree. His tongue slid in immediately, and he kissed me thoroughly until the car came to a stop in front of The Bowery.
Reluctantly, I released myself from his embrace. “Thank you, Hudson.” For the chance to run the club, for helping me be successful at it, for loving me in the best way you know how, for finding me in the first place.

He swept my hair away from my shoulder. “No. Thank you.”

About the Author

USA Today Bestselling Author Laurelin Paige is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however. When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Mad Men and the Walking Dead, or dreaming of Adam Levine. She is represented by the wonderful Bob Diforio of D4EO Literary Agency.

5+++ Emotional, Sexy, Heartbreaking Stars!

“You’re the center of my world, precious. Every minute of every day. Even when I’m not with you.” He brushed his lips against mine. “You make it so easy to fall so hard.” ~Hudson Pierce

I have read, adored, obsessed over, and pimped this series since the beginning.  Alayna and Hudson have become one of my all-time favourite book couples. I fell head over heels with these two flawed and broken characters back in Fixed on You. My love has grown and I am so incredibly sad that this is the end of their story. Forever with You is the best in this series by far. This is without a doubt Laurelin Paige’s best work to date, no question. Forever with You, is my first favourite for 2014 and my last favourite of 2013 however you care to look at it. For me it will sit in both categories.

Alayna and Hudson are living together at The Bowery as a couple and working on a healthy, honest relationship.  Celia is still breathing, sadly, and determined to wreak havoc and destroy their relationship. That wench is seriously determined and evil. Sophia is still a wicked witch, who spends 24/7 at the bottom of a bottle.  However Alayna is finally fighting back. This line made me full on belly laugh. I laughed, because I have been planning Celia’s death myself, since Fixed on You. I have imagined a fiery car crash millions of times taking out this B*tch!

“It was a good thing I’m a pacifist, because otherwise I’d have to start planning her murder.” ~ Alayna

We still have no idea what is on this video that Stacy is determined to share with Alayna. However even with all of this taking place, trust, honesty, and faith in each other’s love and devotion are the true obstacles, in my opinion. I became incredibly frustrated with both Alayna and Hudson in this book. Alayna preaching and pleading with Hudson for complete transparency and honesty. Yet once again she is still hiding things, and putting herself at risk.

"We both have to change Hudson. We have to put everything out on the line, Hudson, as much as possible. We know now that we’re together, thick and thin, right? We have to trust that more than anything. We can’t be afraid of our secrets and our pasts. Both of us. Honesty, open doors, transparency.” ~Alayna~

Then we have Hudson. Not being able to communicate with Alayna, how he truly feels about her, and still hiding his past. The frustration I felt while reading Forever with You, was a huge part of the experience for me. I had so many reactions and emotions while reading this one, I had emotional whiplash. In the end a crippling hangover. I cursed, cried, laughed, swooned, sighed, cried, cursed, threw things, swooned, sighed, purred, and then cried some more. You know how that is right?  Please tell me as readers, you have been there?

 This is a new beginning for us, isn’t it?” He leaned forward to brush my nose with his. “No. This is better than a beginning. This is what happens next.” ~Alayna and Hudson~

As the story progressed and all secrets and lies are revealed, I broke. I broke with Hudson and Alayna, and I cried. Oh I full on ugly cried.  I didn’t think I could finish. I had help and support to talk me off the ledge. I have become so invested and attached to these characters, I may require therapy. Laurlein has sucked me into these stories so completely, I tell myself, “They’re characters, they’re not real, it’ll all be okay. It’ll be okay.”

“It would be so easy – so easy to lean up and let him kiss away my pain and insecurity. His lips on mine could erase all darkness, could soothe any pain. Until that afternoon, I’d believed that like some people believed in their religion – Hudson could fix me, every time.” ~Alayna~

The writing is beautiful and poetic. It’s clear and concise, never redundant. The flow is flawless. The sexy time scenes are incredible, erotic, and tingle inducing. Romantic and written with an emotional hand.  WARNING - You will once again need a fan! I never once wanted it to end; I wanted it to go on forever, minus the frustration of course.  It is a fabulous and heartbreaking conclusion to Alayna and Hudson’s story. This series is and always will be on my all-time favourites list, and Laurelin Paige will remain one of my all-time favourite authors. If you have not read this series, do yourself a huge favor and do it. The Fixed Series is a must read for all readers who adore emotional, sexy, beautiful love stories. On that note, I will leave you with my favorite passage from Forever with You.

“Afterward, I stood with a towel wrapped around myself and stared into the steam-clouded mirror. This is was what it was like to see Hudson now, through this fog, knowing that something more lay underneath. If only it were as simple as stretching my hand out and wiping away the condensation to see the man beneath. If only he’d let me in, maybe it would be that easy. Maybe then my touch could finally bring him into focus.” – Alayna, Laurelin Paige, Forever with You

5+++ MUST READ Stars

Where to start, where to start?  If you've ever seen a review from me (there's not many out there), it's probably been on one of Laurelin Paige's books.  (It's no secret that I love her and her writing.)  I hate writing reviews and when I do, it's usually short, sweet, and to the point.  With that being said, I give you my review of Forever With You...

I met Alayna and Hudson in the first book of this series, Fixed on You, and continued their story in book two, Found in You.  (Which, I must say, I frickin' loved!)  Forever With You takes us even further into the lives of Laynie and Hudson, albeit a little *circles finger around ear*, but it's a sexy as hell story with just the right amount of angst.  I cried through the first part, yelled off and on throughout, did the touchdown pose....and had anxiety during the whole damned thing. I loved and hated Hudson, loved and hated Laynie, DESPISED Celia and Sophia, and LOVED Jack and Liesl.

I don't want to share parts of the story because I want you to experience it all for yourself.  I'll just share my feelings....LOVED IT!  And what I think you should do....BUY IT!!  And what else I think about it...AWESOME!  And what else I think you should do...READ IT!!!
